RIPPLE TANK KIT, SET

1. 1 plastic ripple tank. moulded in material of optical quality with tank edges form into "beaches" lined. Provided with drain hole closed by rubber bung. Supported in rigid frame. Dimension of tank (window area): not less than 370 x 280mm.
2. 4 detachable legs to fit frame or ripple tank so that height of tank so that height of tank above beach (when assembled) is approx. 350mm.
3. 2 straight barrier. Plated metal. Dimension. approx.150 x 25mm (length x height) with one end bent at right angles to enable it to stand upright.
4. 2 short straight barrier. As above but having a 30 x 25mm. length x height.
5. 1 curved barrier. plated metal having a uniformly curved surface. with a radius of 150mm approx. Dimension: 220 x 25mm chord length x height.
6. 1 wave generator bar. consisting of a small 1.5-3v d.c. motor mounted on waxed rectangular wooden bar of overall length 300mm approx. Complete with eccentric cam on shaft. Electrical connection is by means of two 4mm sockets. Bar to be provided with hooks for suspension and drilled with hole to accept the mounting rod of spherical dippers.
7. 2 spherical dippers : plastics spheres. diameter 12mm approx. Mounted on end of short metal rod, bent at right angle. Metal rod to fit into wave generator bar.
8. 1 eye dropper (water dropper)
9. 1 trapezoidal refraction plate, glass. Dimension 300 x 200mm approx. and thickness about 4mm.
10. 1 piece of plastic sponge.
11. 1 support rod for illuminant at height of 380mm or more for attachment to frame of ripple tank rigidly.
12. 1 illuminant for ripple tank consisting of a transverse-filament projection type lamps 12v 24W S.B.C. mounted in a conical lamp house and provided with a long metal and boss head for attachment to support rod.
